Chatsundere
The next evolution of privacy-first AI interaction. The backend stores ciphertext only and never sees user data, passphrases, or master keys. Even the server operator cannot read conversations. Invite-only access via QR codes - no email, no phone number, no identity required. Passkey authentication alongside password login. Multi-provider LLM support with curated model integration - NanoGPT and open-source providers through a unified adapter layer. Mobile-first PWA that works offline. Anyone can self-host the backend and build their own client against the same APIs. Currently in alpha (AGPL-3.0).

Built for people who believe their conversations belong to them. All chat sessions, personas, memories, and artifacts stay on the user's own infrastructure - nothing leaves the hardware. Persistent long-term memory that grows with every conversation. Personal knowledge bases attached to individual personas. Bookmarking and journaling within conversations. Voice commands with local speech recognition. Web search integration. File uploads with per-user storage quotas. Multi-provider LLM support - NanoGPT, xAI, and Ollama with bring-your-own-key. Full admin dashboard for multi-user management. Open source (GPL-3.0).
